Comments
This class is well-tuned. The labs went well. The programming labs and project were very interesting to most students.
Strengths of the Course
- "Everything! Extremely well-organized, well-paced, and well-taught. Though the content is not very challenging, (so the comparison is somewhat unfair, particularly since this course has far less content than I'm used to), this is definitely one of the best, most useful courses I have taken in university."
- "Provides a vital skill that I'll use the rest of my life. Gives me an outlook to what actual programming is like."
- "Awesome course, loved the "textbook"."
Weakness of the Course
- "I can't think of a single one, though I feel like I could have learned more if all of the labs were like Lab 5 (which is what I was expecting)."
- "Not enough chocolate ... ; earlier coding ; powerpoints for students!"
Most Enjoyable Part of the Course
- "Ramon's humorous, easy-going approach. Very refreshing."
- "The prof was amazing - really knows his stuff and makes class enjoyable."
