Here I'd like to share some of my personal understanding of a number of interesting papers and related topics, which will be updated slowly but surely.
11/14: Prof. Kschischang provided an interesting tutorial on Lattices and their Applications in Communications with some of my contributions. This tutorial is based on a recent book by Prof. Zamir.
03/13: Prof. Boyd et al. provided an excellent survey on the Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM), inspired by which I have made some extensions so that we can solve a greater range of problems with ADMM.
05/12: Dr. Lomnitz and Prof. Feder provided a simple proof for the channel coding theorem, which involves only the Markov inequality, the union bound, and the law of large numbers (yes, no typicality!).
