Formal lab reports are due by the time I go home one week from the end of the last part of the lab.
Expectations
  1. Arrive to the lab on time, with all of the pre-lab preparations complete. Many of these labs will take all of the allotted time, and often announcements are made at the beginning of class that are important not to miss.
  2. Read the description of the formal lab report carefully. As fourth year students you will be expected to produce high quality reports where you have taken the time to do the background library research, and present your work in a clear, professional manner. I'm looking forward to reading them.
  3. Have fun! This is a really neat set of experiments where you will get the opportunity to do natural products chemistry much as it is done in research labs around the world.
