Next Generation Learning Technology Environments

In conjunction with UBC Vancouver, the Centre for Teaching and Learning is embarking on the development of a vision and roadmap for the "Next Generation" learning technology environment. To begin this process we are facilitating a number of events to capture faculty needs for technologies to support and enhance learning environments.

You are invited to participate and contribute to this very important topic. We are launching this inquiry with two events in October:

  1. Please join us on Thursday, October 14 at 1:30pm-2:30pm(SCI 331) to investigate how we can create effective learning environments and how technology may play a supporting role.

  2. On Monday, October 25 UBC Okanagan will videoconference into a live event featuring guest speaker Dr. Joel M. Smith who is Vice Provost and Chief Information Officer for Carnegie Mellon. Joel will engage participants in a discussion focusing on the future of learning technology. (Details to follow).
