Keynote speakers
The International Environmetrics Society (TIES) was founded at a meeting of participants of the 1989 Conference on Environmetrics held in Cairo, Egypt. Two distinguished keynote speakers, statistician John Stewart Hunter and limnologist Richard A. Vollenweider, set the interdisciplinary tone of the conferences from the beginning. Currently, two regular lectures are arranged for the conference each year.
